I am filled with tremendous gratitude, satisfaction, and joy to extend my sincere gratitude to each one of you (staff members, friends, and volunteers) for your resilience and commitment. Your unwavering dedication to our cause continues to echo deep within my heart by motivating me to continue helping and touching the lives of those who are in need.
THE THREE HANDS FOUNDATION INC is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization and Educational Organization. It is registered under the category Human Services and subcategory Human Service Organizations. It has an Unconditional Exemption and donations made to this organization are Deductible, as of Sep 2014. It is in Cutler Bay, FL, within the Miami metropolitan area. We are member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC Status).
The Three Hands Foundation (THF) was founded and established after the horrific 7.0 Magnitude earthquake that catastrophically struck Haiti left 3,500,000 people affected by the quake; More Statistic showed that 250,000 people estimated to have died, 300,000+ people were injured, over 188,383 houses were badly damaged and 105,000 were destroyed by the earthquake (293,383 in total); 1.5m people became homeless, schools and universities, and hospitals were damaged and destroyed.
I personally could not stay and watch my beloved country and people suffered without lifting a finger to help. I had been persuaded to do something even in small scale as the Haitian proverb goes “bay piti pa di chich” Giving a little doesn't mean being stingy. We organized many mission trips to different location in Port-au-Prince, Cap- Haitien, and part of Haiti sending supplies to the Cayes, Southern part of Haiti despites of human and financial resources we were able to touch many families lives and children. It is a reminder of the importance of compassion, solidarity, and selflessness in the service the most vulnerable in our global community. As a founder of this foundation, I want people to know this foundation is firmly built on Christian foundations: justice, love, compassion, and service, which effectively align with the essence of the Biblical values of our faith and the core human values.
Your support is very important to help us assisting those in need of basic daily necessities. THF is committed to educational initiatives to empower the next generation, giving them the tools, they need to make a brighter future for themselves and allow the current generation to better their lives and empower them to take control of their own destinies. THF is committed to create an environment of love, guidance, and mentorship, allowing the youth to flourish and achieve God given potentiality. THF’s aim is to create projects to enhance the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of our community members.
Your contributions can have tremendous impact and create social and positive changes to the lives of many, and for that, we will continue to strive. We are celebrating 15th year, and I encourage my dear supporters and donors to consider joining us in our mission. We need a physical location for an office so that we can be more visible.
